Grocery shopping shouldn’t be complicated, but for many busy families, it often feels like a daunting task. My name is Thomas Bernier, and as a father of three, I’ve experienced firsthand the challenges of managing a household while trying to stay on top of grocery lists, find the best deals, and plan nutritious meals. For years, I relied on various apps and software to browse all the grocery flyers in my locality, manually entering products on sale into an AI to generate meal plans. It was a slow, tedious process that left me wishing for a better way—a tool that could do all of this work for me, automatically.

That’s when I had a vision: What if I could automate this entire process? I imagined a platform that would seamlessly scan flyers, find the best deals, and generate meal plans, all without the manual effort. I shared this idea with my long-time friend and programming expert, Mohamed Salame, and he immediately saw the potential. Together, we set out to bring this vision to life, and that’s how Grocery Guru was born—a tool designed to save time, reduce stress, and make grocery shopping more efficient.
